Rohm Labs Arimidex (Anastrozole)
Arimidex is the most widely used aromatase inhibitor (AI) in performance enhancement. It reduces the conversion of testosterone to estrogen, controlling water retention, bloating, elevated blood pressure, and gynecomastia during anabolic steroid cycles. Rohm Labs Arimidex contains Anastrozole and is independently lab-tested by a UK laboratory.

What Is Arimidex (Anastrozole)?
Anastrozole is a non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor that works by blocking the aromatase enzyme responsible for converting androgens (including testosterone) into estrogen. By inhibiting this enzyme, Arimidex reduces circulating estrogen levels, preventing estrogen-related side effects during steroid cycles.
Arimidex is classified as a reversible (non-suicidal) AI, meaning it binds to the aromatase enzyme temporarily. When discontinued, aromatase activity returns to normal. This contrasts with Aromasin (Exemestane), which is a suicidal AI that permanently deactivates the enzyme molecules it binds to.
When to Use Arimidex
During Testosterone Cycles
When running aromatising compounds like Testosterone Enanthate, Sustanon, or Dianabol, Arimidex at 0.25-0.5mg every other day is the standard approach for managing estrogen. The ideal strategy is to dose based on symptoms and bloodwork rather than using a fixed dose from day one. Some users have higher aromatisation rates than others.
Signs You Need an AI
Water retention and bloating, puffy or sensitive nipples, elevated blood pressure, emotional sensitivity, and reduced libido can all indicate elevated estrogen. Bloodwork showing estradiol (E2) above the reference range confirms it. Start Arimidex at the lower dose (0.25mg EOD) and adjust based on response.
Signs You Are Over-Suppressing Estrogen
Crashed estrogen is as problematic as high estrogen. Symptoms include joint pain and cracking, fatigue, loss of libido, dry skin, depression, and difficulty maintaining erections. If these appear, reduce or temporarily discontinue your AI dose. Estrogen is essential for joint health, cardiovascular health, and neurological function.
Arimidex vs Aromasin
Both are effective AIs. Arimidex is reversible and easier to dose-adjust. Aromasin is suicidal (permanent enzyme deactivation) and generally considered milder on lipids. Many users prefer Arimidex for its predictability and Aromasin for its lipid-friendliness. Both get the job done.
Important: Arimidex Is Not PCT
Arimidex is an on-cycle support compound, not a post-cycle therapy drug. It does not restore natural testosterone production. After your cycle, you need a SERM such as Clomid or Tamoxifen for PCT. Some users taper their AI during PCT, but the AI alone will not restart your HPG axis.
Lab Testing
Every Rohm Labs Arimidex batch is tested by an independent UK laboratory. Verify your batch on our Lab Testing and Verification page.
